According to Pro Football Talk, the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to terms with wide receiver David Boston.
While details of the contract are unknown, Pro Football Talk states that it is a short term contract with a relatively low salary that is heavily based on incentives.
Boston was released by the Miami Dolphins after failing a physical. A ruptured knee tendon kept Boston out of action all of last year.
Boston was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 1999. His best year was in 2001 when he had 98 catches for 1,598 yards and 8 touchdowns. Boston has 4,619 career receiving yards.
