BEARS interested in EDGE

This one blew me away when I heard it this morning. The biggest question is why? I guess he would be a nice fit for the type of offense that they are trying to run but..... :-o

you sure about that? i bet theres less than 5 teams in the nfl willing to offer edge what he wants.

edge has already said that he'd enjoy playing in chicago. his brother went to illinios st.(not sure if that matters, could). i belive the bears will land edge for our 2nd and 5th round picks of this years draft.

I would live to see Edge in Chicago but that would put TJones in the Dominic Rhodes role, which I doubt TJ would go for. Either Edge or TJ would end up unhappy. Edge is worth more than a 2 and a 5 too. This whole thing looks unlikely to me, but hey I thought Moss would stay in Minn too so who knows.

hey indy already said edge is available for somthing less than a first round pick. and if we get edge, who cares how TJ feels.

jones is a perfectly good back when healthy...i cant see them seriously pursuing james..but stranger things have happened i guess..

A topic like two down from this one says "Edge to Cards!!!!???!!!" I don't even listen to them anymore. Because either one is bad for me cuz I have both Shipp and T. Jones.
