Quality WR's????

Postby cruiz03 » Fri Mar 11, 2005 4:40 pm

Below you will find a list of WR's that going into the year with a cloud of questions regarding their productivity in the future. Here is how I rank them and what I feel their worth is.

- A. Johnson: Where was he at the end of last year? Ok, second chane.
- S. Smith: He's good, but can he put up numbers like Mush?
- R. Wayne: If Peyton drops in number so will he.
- D. Jackson: He kills me with all his dropped balls.
- R. Williams: Needs a QB and Rogers is coming back.
- P. Burres: This guy is a head case. If he goes to Mini, he's mine.

I agree with that and I'd even put Plax down in a 4th group because he's not that great but it will depend on where he ends up. Minny would benefit him most but I seriously doubt the Vikes will move one head case for another much less talented one.

I really like AJ to hit his stride in year 3. Smith won't put up numbers like Muhammed but he could come fairly close. Wayne will drop back some as will all Indy WRs as Peyton settles back to 35-40ish TDs. DJax should be better next year with Hass getting a seemingly much needed vote of confidence. Roy has mad talent but you hit the nail on the head. I think he'll get his enough to be a solid #2 in a 12-teamer but he should be at least a very good #3.

LOL...it sounds as if this is a bad number! But seriously,Wayne shouldn't diminish too much,as he is getting better all the time and is still quite young.35-40 TD's is still plenty to go around on a team that rushes for like 5 a year.(I know, exaggeration, but you get the point.)
