Rodgers at 16? He's the likely #1 pick.

For a first mock it's not bad, but I disagree with a lot of things on it.

First of all, I know Alex Smith's draft stock is rising, and I could even see him passing Aaron Rodgers on draft day, but no way will Rodgers fall that far. I'd love for us to get him at 16 but it won't happen. If Alex Smith goes first, I just don't see Cleveland passing on such a franchise quarterback. And even if Rodgers falls out of the top 3, he won't make it past the likes of Cards/Skins/Lions/Cowgirls, who would probably give their souls for Rodgers.

Second is the Bucs taking Alex Barron...I don't think so. I believe they're going to take either Mike Williams or Cadillac Williams...Gruden is very fond of both of them.

18 is somewhat early for Brodney Pool in my mind. Also, I'm pretty sure the Broncos today just matched what the Jets offered Putzier, so the Broncos will probably end up keeping him, and if so they probably won't take Heath Miller.

I don't think the Jags need work on the o-line...more on the d-line. I see them taking either Pollack, or maybe Shaun Cody.

For a first mock though, it's not half bad.

I noticed that you had Tampa taking an O-Lineman instead of a RB. Is this because you think they get Edge or another RB outside the draft?

Pretty good mock, only a few problems;

No way the Browns pass up Rodgers

Too early for James, his stock is falling and Merriman is a much better pick at DE

Bucs won't take an OT, I don't think any o-lineman will be taken inside the Top 10

Carlos Rogers won't fall to 24, he's a Top 15 pick

Other than that, its good. And oh yeah....

If the Cowboys take Mark Clayton with Jammal Brown and Carlos Rogers still on the board, I think I'll puke.

What about Merriman with Rodgers still on the board?

The Jets arent going to take Shaun Cody. I know you are thinking of him as a DT for the Jets to fill Ferguson's shoes, but the Jets more pressing needs at corner back, and there is no way they will pass up both Justin Miller and more significantly Brandon Browner, who is a CB who is 6'4" and runs a 4.4.

Other than that, I agree with what everyone else says about the Bucs not taking a Tackle (they will take Carnell or Cedric) and Rodgers not dropping to 16. Also, I don't think the Eagles are going to take an OL man, but then again I don't know about the Eagles like I know about the jets.

Overall.... decent. Like everyone else said, no way Rodgers falls. Jags will not take an OT. If they don't take a DE, which is about 98% they will, then they will take a CB. Also, I think Pac-Man (Adam) Jones will go before Antrel Rolle.

Pretty decent mock, a lot of the flaws were already mentioned. No way the Rams take a LB in the first after just signing Coakley and Claiborne.
