Raiders sign Derrick Burgess

Wow, Oakland is really active this off season. It's going to be very interesting to see how all these additions to their roster turn out next season.

Nice to see that we are focusing on defense now. Typical raider contract, seems like big money but the bulk of the 17.5 mil are in the last 3 years.

Good signing. It will be interesting to see whether the Raiders will be a powerhouse or just one big head case full of egos! I'd definitely like to see some Raider football next year.

Wow, the Raiders are going to look like genius' if they get to the playoffs next year. Pretty nice signings so far!

Burgess has always been bothered by injuries...but this is still a pretty good signing. I think he'll carry over some of the momentum he got in the playoffs into the 2005 season...and should have a good with one with the Raidaaas. Man they are looking like absolute geniuses this offseason...hopefully it pays off.
