Well, I have a couple rumors that I have heard from my "source". I hope you guys find some of them interesting.
Plaxico Burress is possibly looking to rejoin his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rumor has it the "bad boy" could return to his team for the right price in a one-year deal to help recreate his image.
The Detroit Lions could be starting new quarterback as early as Week 1. In a battle that should last through the preseason, it appears coach Mariucci is going to start giving Harrington the job, but it is most likely Garcia's job to lose.
With the signing of safety Darren Sharper, former starter Brian Russell may contact his agent later this week to test the trade market. If Russell does find a buyer, the Vikings will most likely get a draft pick, ideally in the 3rd round, but the 4th seems more realistic at this point.
The New York Giants appear to have withdrawn their offer to Plaxico Burress after the Minnesota Vikings pulled out the bidding. This is most likely a move to lower Burress's price, but the Giants could also be looking to save that money and target a WR in the draft instead.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is reportedly talking sparingly to Packers personnel about signing a new contract up to 4 years long. This is great news for Packer fans as long as Brett keeps that cannon loaded and keeps his legacy going.
And finally, Eagles wide receiver Freddie Mitchell is reportedly close to signing a 6-year, $40 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens. No... just had to rip on Freddie "Ubberfreak" Mitchell"
