Need help with team

Postby MonkeyMan76 » Tue Sep 24, 2002 1:47 am

I'm only scoring high 70-low 80 points a game and need some major help... I am 0-3 and need to catch up. This is first time I've done this and any pointers are appreciated :P

Here's my team:

QB - Daunte Culpepper
WR - Chris Chambers
WR - Derek Alexander
WR - David Patten
RB - LaDainian Tomlinson
RB - Mike Alstott
TE- Bryon Chamberlain
WR/TE - Dwayne Carswell
WR/RB - Ron Dayne
Kicker - Bill Gramatica
Defense - Green Bay

What should I do...?

Well, for starters, drop Carswell and pick up a WR, there should be some at the wire, Finneran maybe, who will likely score more points and more consistently.

Other than that it's wait and see, upgrading from Dayne will be hard, but as soon as Culpepper picks it up again your team should compete...

I agree with cwebb, scan the waiver wire and pick up a decent wr, you may also see what rb's are available since dayne hasnt done to much either, after that your team looks pretty decent you just need them to start producing.

you need a definate upgrade at both WR and RB. like they said scan the FA market. here are some guesses on who might be available

WR: finneran, stallworth, kennison, a. davis (cle), etc.

RB: wells (hou), moe williams(min), there probably arent many left
if you post a list of whos available then we'd be more than happy to give you more advice

While you're cleaning house, drop D.Alexander also,or trade him.Figure in the Randy Ratio, even though Moss ain't catchin' em,Culpepper's still throwin' to him.Alexander could step up in Randy's "absence" but I don't see that happening right now.

Johnson (Cin)
Ferguson (GB)
Sanders (Ari)

As for RBs...

Warren (Det)
Schlesinger (Det)
Wiler, Michael (Dal)

You may try and see if anyone has deshaun foster. i know he hasnt played yet, but when he comes back from injury he should be a factor in carolina's plan. He should make an impact when he returns, just something to think about.
