I know Gifford, OJ, Marcus Allen and Ronnie Lott all went to SoCal - so I'm guessing these are all Hall-Of-Famers who played college ball at USC.

Gotta be Lynn Swann - who finally made it ... last year? Or 2001.

Hey! Got one!
If it hadn't been Swann left off the list (since he just recently got in), I probably wouldn't have gotten it.

Swann proves there should be more to who gets in than just the numbers alone.
I seriously doubt the Steelers would have had a 4-ring dynasty w/o him.

See, by this point, the HOF has elected every member of those Steeler teams except the TRAINER!!! Who gets the credit?

If this is the standard, then no less than the following Dallas players/contributors will be enshrined:

Aikman
Smith
Johnston
Irvin
Newton
Allen
Stepnoski
Sanders
Haley
Woodson
Jimmy Johnson
Jerry Jones

and non-Cowboy fans would sh$t themselves. And yet the HOF set the standard by taking Swann over Pearson, Blount over Harris or Renfro, etc...
