Cleveland Plain Dealer (registration required): "The Browns are a step closer to possibly releasing William Green after they signed Baltimore restricted free agent Chester Taylor to a $3 million offer sheet on Wednesday."

Good for both sides. If Green wants a chance to start, he will be more of a cancer than a help.

The Ravens can still match the offer on Taylor, but its doubtful. Reports are Taylor will probably compete w/ Suggs for the starting position.

Bye, bye Willy

I have to question signing Taylor though. He looked decent in Jamal's absence, and isn't it a possibility that the same problems can occur with him?Suggs in no way proved to me that he is a definite starting back,so the door is still open a crack for yet another season of RB controversy IMO.

I agree, the potential signing of Taylor definitely isn't good for Suggs owners. He would be more competition than Green ever was, IMO.

I'm sure that Cleveland fans would be overjoyed at seeing Green go, though.

Carthon says Suggs is the man. I believe that Taylor can push Suggs to the potential that fans know he has. Green has been a pain since he got there. Take out some more of Butchie's trash I say. It's hard to tell what is really happening in Cleveland except that major changes are coming.
