I have to question signing Taylor though. He looked decent in Jamal's absence, and isn't it a possibility that the same problems can occur with him?Suggs in no way proved to me that he is a definite starting back,so the door is still open a crack for yet another season of RB controversy IMO.

I agree, the potential signing of Taylor definitely isn't good for Suggs owners. He would be more competition than Green ever was, IMO.

I'm sure that Cleveland fans would be overjoyed at seeing Green go, though.

Carthon says Suggs is the man. I believe that Taylor can push Suggs to the potential that fans know he has. Green has been a pain since he got there. Take out some more of Butchie's trash I say. It's hard to tell what is really happening in Cleveland except that major changes are coming.

I don't know the figures offhand, but I believe that 3 million for a one year contract is probably the highest amount a backup RB has ever been paid. This leads me to believe that Taylor is either going to be given the chance to be the starter, or that he will play a large role in a RBBC. Stay away from Cleveland Brown's RBs, the streak will continue...

backup and RBBC, its another good move by Crennel imo. Taylor looked real good last year filling in for Jamal, I'm not at all surprised that he'll see time again this year, so I'm thinking RBBC unless Suggs ups his play a lot.

Get rid of Green, and Crennel will have taken out almost all of the trash already, nice job.

its doubtful that he will get to compete for the stering job. he is more the 3rd down back thats good at recieving, draws, and screens.

so suggs owners dont fear too much, though if you have lee suggs as one of your RBs maybe you should be worrying about that.

just another young ravens that phil savage has stolen from under us... no, it never gets old! del rio, lewis, now savage... AWESOME!!!

what i dont understand is why we put a low tender on chester taylor (which we'll get a 6th rounder for) while putting a middle tender on will demps (who sucks)... amazing...

I guess this means that Jamal Lewis owners should pick up Musa Smith as the handcuff/backup?

For $3 million, I've got to believe that they are going to give him the keys to the starting job there. At the very least, he's going to get a damn good chance to prove he can start.
