Vikings trade pick for Cowart

they traded a seventh round pick for yet another LB... their D should be very solid next year and now they can choose a WR in the first round with one of their picks without having to worry too much about their D

if their d is better it has nothing to do with this meaningless move.

my point was that they traded for yet ANOTHER LB. I never stated that Cowart was the best LB in the game and that he alone improved that D. Their D is indeed better with the addition of smoot and harris so that is not even worth discussing.

I would beg to differ that there d will be "that" much better with cowart. If you really feel that he is meaningless then you should maybe review his stats. He is a top LB for sure.

This trade makes me happy I did want to see Cowart is the purpke since the start of FA.

Cowart's defenitely proved himself...good pickup. He's better than our 7th rd pick prob. would've been.

Another good deal, the Vikes are really making me proud.

A 30 year old LB(probably has 5 good seasons left in him) who has gotten 100+ tackles 4 out of 7 years and has good cover skills, I'll take it. I mean, its a real steal. Only a 7th rounder!

He will be able to help the young guys like EJ Henderson and Dontarrius Thomas mature, and gives us a starter. Definitely a good deal.

How many good/elite players are flat out dropped? Cowart is a quality LB with some good years left
