amazing... 3 mil for a backup?

Baltimore has an improved o-line with a hungry Jamal Lewis who's on a contract year.

They should have cut their losses with Chester. I thought they were going to draft a replacement backup.

there isnt really a RB in the later rounds that interest the ravens enough to draft as a backup. considering musa smith is coming back and bj sams did score a TD as our RB we have enough for now.

i am a bit weary to pay $3 million to taylor, not because he is our backup (because he would make a fine featured RB) but because we are running out of cap room...

Perhaps they will now trade him to the browns. Any draft pick is better than none

the ravens wont trade him. he is ready to step in and start if jamal leaves and is a great insurace policy as well as a 3rd down back.

its not like we keep him at 3 million. he most likely sign a long term deal in the next week or so...

i didnt thinkthis would happen...thats a lot of money that could have went elsewhere IMO..i think they would have been better off keeping musa and BJ and drafting another RB.

Looks like A-train or possibly Fason from the draft will become more of a possibility ;-D
