Rowanowski to pay $340k to Williams

I think Williams deserves a lot more...ending a pro football career is washing millions of dollars down the drain. He deserves to be compensated for the years of football he is now unable to play, in addition to the double vision, depression, etc.

I hate Romanowski. :-t

Piss poor in my estimation, but it's also the same legal system that let Robert Blake loose too. Too bad Romo didn't have to testify about steroids on Capital Hill. :-o

From an observer's standpoint, I dont understand how one year's pay at minimum salary is justifiable for ending a young player's career. It should have been about 5 years, or 1.5 mil in my opinion.

Of course, there may have been some weird evidence presented at the case, and Romo likely had a much more lucrative defense team.

If he's smart, he wont. Most cases where a person's working career has ended involves continuous payments, and the total would be much more than 1 year's salary.

He should have paid him whatever his entire contract was at the time.
