I was not as impressed with the second season. Seems like they tried to make Al more of the good guy instead of the murderous con artist he was in the first season.
I can't believe the last episode was mostly about a wedding. You ussually see that in sitcoms in about the third season.
The audience made Al the lead in this series. People endeared themselves to him. So the writers played to it a lot in season two. Gave him the story of spearheading a fight to push Deadwood to territorial rights.
Season 3 should show Al being far more nefarious.
Only 3 leagues this year. No sense in rooting for everyone in the NFL.
