I'm also considering getting one of these in the future, since I'd like an MP3 player and also would like the game-playing and movie watching possibilities. These things sound awesome. One thing I'd like to know, as I really have no clue about these things:

Do you need to just load music from your computer with the USB cables, and can you do this with movies also? Another thing I hear about is that these have WI-FI possibilities? Any ideas there so far?

yeah it just connects to your computer through standard usb..it also has infared. with the movie downloading its all going to be about the size of the memory stick you have. most movies that are avi and jpeg are bigger than 256 mb, so you would probably need a bigger stick for a full movie..or downgrade the quality on it.

i just read the manual and it says file formats compatible are mp3, ATRAC3plus, JPEG and MPEG4..so i guess avi is out of the question without converting it first.

about the WI-FI...i have no idea.
