Doesn't take a real genius to figure that a lot of guys used them but to single out 1 team just because they were successful is absurd.

Who would know better about the use of something on a particular team than someone who was on it. I'm not saying he should have come out and say it in public.

Sad topic to be sure but it was actually Lyle Alzado that died and blamed it on the roids. The Tuz is still alive and kicking I'm pretty sure.
GP, is that ringing a bell with Webster?

Um,Haslett never played for the Steelers,he was a coach for them way after the Super Bowls so there goes that argument.
Webster probably was a steroid user, not sure whether it's ever been proven or documented though. They can't attribute his death to them either although it's a known fact that he abused other drugs.
When i saw the ESPN ticker last night after i went out and got BLASTED(drunk). I was super excited cuz i only saw his name and not the entire report.
Thinking he stepped down. or was fired. I was so excited. Hell yeah the saints are finally getting somewhere.
And the next time around. What did i read? Yeah steroids. I was so bummed.
Talk about extreme feelings. From HAPPY to so so sad.

Actually you're half right. I combined Alzado and Matuszak. My bad.
Alzado was the one who had the brain tumor and died of the cancer. He blamed it on steroid use.
John Matuszak died in 1989 of heart failure which family members also indicated could have been contributed to by steroid use.

Sorry for the misinformation.
Apologies right back at you. I could have sworn that Tuz was still alive. Probably mixing him up with Bob Golic.
