Im now hoping that the chargers take him wiht thier later 1st round pick. Mabee take some D with the 12th pick and then let him fillin for WR, id be a fan of that

I don't like how he got pushed out of bounds at the 1 on the first clip. Didn't look like he wanted the TD very bad at the end there. He coulda scored which makes me wonder about the attitude problem rumors that are floating around.....

They are just that ... rumors. There has never been an incident where Jones has been any kind of a problem at Arkansas. He is the kind of athlete that makes things look so easy that people think he's not going balls out all the time. Truth is, he's on a permanent chill pill. Just a super laid back kid.
If he wants a touchdown, he gets it most times. He led the Hogs in 7 overtimes at Mississippi, 6 at Tennesee, and 7 at Kentucky, winning 2 of the 3 games. Check out his stats here.
I think the bottom line is that whoever gets him will love him. ;-D

Eagles draft Matt Jones IMO. They got the picks to burn and Matt Jones looks like a project player to me. Too early of a pick for most teams, but the Eagles have so many picks..... Goes hand in hand with Mort's other lover. Of course he's going to the Eagles..

I'm really hoping he puts on a Lions uniform, but I can't see him making to the 41st pick. In the next 3 weeks will he climb to the 10th pick (Detroit's 1st)?

I hope that Detroit can make some moves again this year in the draft, and get a later 1st round pick to get this guy (one way or another).

I doubt that. I can't see a guy who never played the position in college that he will in the pros get picked in the top half of the first...
