I have to say at first I started thinking Wow! What a great deal for the Chiefs and horrible deal for the Dolphins, but I did read all the way to the bottom! It is pretty funny when you consider how many people will probably post on message boards, call their friends, email analysts, etc. before they realize it's a joke.

Yeah it's a real link, but the fact it wasn't a straight cnn link or whatever led me to think it was fishy right off the bat..

Gotta love April Fools day. haha.

On a side note, why aren't the Chiefs trading Priest???? They have a stud RB in Larry Johnson, and they need ALOT of help on the defensive end...

Larry Johnson is MAYBE a semi-stud in the making, but I would not hardly go ahead and call him a stud at this point... I think of him as the Marcell Shipp of 2005... However, IMO, the Chiefs should look to make a deal for Priest this offseason, just like they should have last offseason... Coming off his 2003 season, he was gold... They could have gotten just about any other player in the league plus a few draft picks for him.... This value has somewhat decreased after 2004, and will only decrease further after 2005.... If I was in charge of this organization I would be looking to deal him something huge...

My guess is that Priest has already made it clear to the Chiefs front office that if they attempt to trade him, he'll retire....

And I think other teams know this as well, which pretty much puts an end to those negotiations right then and there....

Priest is 400 years old with a rash of pretty serious injuries.Wait! That means he's perfect for the Bears,or maybe the Raiders!

The funniest part of it is the end! "What would we do without Priest?"

Well in this case, with that trade, you'd probably start to win.

Losing Priest may lose you 7 pts. a game, but gaining Taylor and Surtain would save you 14-21 pts. a game!
