This really hurts Suggs value if what Savage says is true.
It sure seems like Suggs has the tools to carry the load.
From Fanball.com:
The Browns' acquisition of running back Reuben Droughns means the position will be a job share, according to GM Phil Savage. "We wanted to bring in somebody that would be different than Lee Suggs," Savage told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "We feel those two guys will be working in combination with each other. We think there's even a situation where maybe both can be on the field together."
OUR VIEW
If you're a believer in history repeating, it's worth noting that the last time Cleveland paired backs wearing jersey numbers 34 and 44, Kevin Mack and Earnest Byner both topped 1,000 yards. More likely, however, it means the fantasy value of both Droughns and Suggs will be subdued until one back emerges as the go-to guy.
