I want to know if the Madden game changes or improves every year, except for the players and thier ratings of course. The reason I ask is that I purchased Madden 2002 (yea I know) for $5 late in 2004. I love the game and spend hours every weekend playing it. Is it any different than 2005? I don't have the money to buy a "new" game, but would consider if it were to go on sale. If the games are virtually the same, I'll just keep playing 2002, until I'm brain dead. Thanks!

Yes, despite what the competition says they actually do make pretty drastic changes year to year.

All in all, 2004 was definitely my favorite. I love a challenging defense, but the plays defenders routinely make in 2005 are just way too unnaturally amazing for my tastes. I LOVE them making it harder to score, but I'd rather them do it naturally then just make the defense make unnatural plays.

It's getting to the point now where you should just wait for 2006. You waited 4 years.. what's another few months? ;-)

The problem is I can't afford 2005 right now, let alone 2006 when it comes out. ;-)

I don't know what platform you are using, but I just bought 2005 for PC at Walmart for $17. Great buy.

Thanks. Didn't even think of e-bay. $10 is about the right price range for me. ;-D
