who is the young guy who won the Rose Bowl for Texas? He seemed pretty good, but i don't see a Texas QB on the list.

Vince Young? He's fast, but not the best passer (*cough* Vick! Vick!). I believe he is more of a WR prospect in the NFL anyways, and probably not an warly round prospect.

Walker has some game, but the freshman RB class is very deep, Jamario Thomas probably would have been considered before Walker.

And Young could become an NFL QB if he shows some QB skills this year, but he is more likely to become an NFL WR a la Matt Jones.

3. Antonio Cromartie, CB, FSU
The best corner prospect in quite some time, he should be a special player in the league.

I love this choice right here... Antonio went to the same high school (and college) that I did... I have watched him play MANY times.... In high school he played both ways, and dominated on both sides of the ball... I think we saw a taste of what he can do in the FSU/Miami game to open last season... He damn near won that thing for us.... There is no doubt in my mind he'll eventually be a first round pick...

I see his father every day because he's the UPS man who delivers to my office... You couldn't hope to meet nicer people....


On a side note, I love your Ernie Sims pick, as well... That kid's going to be something special.... And it doesn't hurt that he's another local....

Nice compilation CC as usual! Those JRs. and Sophs. would have greatly changed this draft for all involved. Those two Virginia players are pretty top notch guys. Groh has really got a pipeline going now it seems.

Nice lists CC, always enjoy reading what you have to say. The draft is going to be absolutely loaded next year Good to even see an Iowa player on your list I'd like to see Tate on there but I realize he's a better college player than pro prospect...

Yea, I had a tough time deciding between Sims and Mario Williams for that final spot, both are elite prospects but I've had the pleasure of watching Sims about 6 times and I have only seen Williams twice.

Eh, it's too early to tell. At this time last year people were going insane about how this years draft (now considered by most to be weak especially at the top) was going to be incredible.
