Mon, 4 Apr 2005 15:07:54 -0700

Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos second-year RB Tatum Bell is expected to go into training camp as the team's No. 1 running back.

Broncos | Dayne to Compete for Backup Role
Mon, 4 Apr 2005 15:07:18 -0700

Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos RB Ron Dayne will compete for a backup job with the team.

so it appears that tatum bell will get his chance to start as he is slated the started for the Broncos... i think he will do very well.

however, given the chance or Shanahan's past as an example, Dayne may very well get his chance sometime during the season...

actually i believe at this point in time, until training camp at least, o.j. simpson is one spot below lincoln's grandfather in the depth chart. maybe a camp battle?

I thought it was like:

-Bell
-Dayne
-Q-tip
-OJ SImpson
-Lenoard Little
-Champ Bailey
Ulysses S. Grant

I thought it was like that, but maybe I'm hallucinating.

It's been rumored that OJ may be moving up the depth chart, "slaying" the competition with his "slashing" style. :-P

I don't think that Tatum has his spot as "#1" safely secured, although he appears most likely at this point, Q Tip could give him a run for his money.

Did Mike Anderson retire??

I know that I'm gonna get it this, but this kid will put up Portis Denver RB numbers if not better. I can't wait to grab this kid in my redraft league.

Quickness and serious speed at 215lbs. I wouldn't be surprised to see him drop 1500-1650 yrd and 12-15 TD's.
