there is something wrong with these people. you can even bet the next pope's name and the number of days it will take for him to be elected... I know they stand to make a lot of money with all the gambling but come on there are just some things that you shouldnt bet on. Maybe its just me but betting and the pope definitely dont go together... they are trying to get money from an election which millions of other hold sacred... Its just not right at all

It all really depends on who you are and what you believe.Myself,I see nothing wrong with it.Of course,I don't believe in God,or even religion itself for that matter.So it is completely inoffensive to me.Now,to bet on when someone is going to die,especially if they are on a deathbed would be a little bad,but I suppose there are those who think nothing at all of death and that wouldn't bother them.

I agree that it feels a bit sacreligious Plindsey, but I do think that it is somewhat done in jest. Probably no more sacreligious than the Fr. that married my wife and I having a Bloody Mary at the reception!
