The night he took the raiders on his shoulders and pummled the Hawks in the Dome on Monday Night Football.
And the game where he busted his hip.
He very well could have been the most dynamic back in the history of the NFL.
He was the only Raider I didn't hate.
Man, couldn't have said it better Aww. Those two games were definitely what defined his career. I still remember that Monday night game v. your Seahawks and then "stud" LB Brian Bosworth. Bosworth was definitely an amazing talent coming from college but it was simply amazing how Bo made him look like a rag doll out there.
Just as sad was that game, I believe it was v. Cinncinatti. The hit looked like nothing more than perhaps your normal type with a possibility of his leg being overextended. Who knew that it would end such a brilliant career.
It's too bad that he wasn't able to amass more career stats as I think that he would be a shoe-in Hall of Famer like Sayers. I think he still may have an outside chance to get there.
