Microsoft Antispyware Beta

Postby mtryanks12 » Sat Apr 09, 2005 7:57 am

I had hundreds of trojans and spyware on my comp recently, and I recommend downloading the new microsoft antispyware beta for securtiy purposes. I just ran a scan, and it saved my comp. It found hundreds of syware, viruses, and adaware that Norton Antivirus, Ad-aware, and Spybot Search and destroy didn't find on my computer. I highly recommend this product for any windows computer, even though it's a beta.

I have heard some good things about it somewhere; can't remember where, but I should probably give it a try...

Of course, there is always the inherent danger that Microsoft's spyware program will actually add more Microsoft spyware to your computer...and of course it won't say anything about that. :-o

LOL - that was MY first thought. I still may have to give it a shot, though. Keep the reviews coming. If you notice a lot of difference in performance it might be worth it.

I've noticed a great difference. I no longer have to run windows in safe mode, and it saved me from having to make a boot disc. It has also made my computer faster, so far, beacuse the traffic is reduced and it got rid of a couple dozen executables.

first of all, I can't use , and I don't look at po rn (filter protection).

my filter blocks both of those things out. I know where the spyware came from, and all the other crap, and it wasn;t from either of those things.

Thanks ;-D

My computer is running much better now. The beta program took about 350 things of my computer. I had spybot and Mccafee before but they did not do the job of Beta
