Well, I was thinking about how the Vikings draft will go. And, here's how I see it.
1.07-Mike Williams (WR)
1.18- David Pollack (DE)
2.18- Mike Nugent (K)
3.18- Adam Snyder (OG)
4.18- Andrew Walter (QB)
5.18- Maurice Clarett (RB) 6.18- Steve Savoy (WR)
7.18- Bryce Benekos (P)
So, as we all know, Minnesota has an uncanny knack for taking running backs that fall "too far". So, what do see? Does Minnesota nab Maurice Clarett in the 5th? (Most experts, including Mel Kiper, have Clarett as a 5th or 6th rounder.) And, if Minnesota isn't the team that rolls the dice, who takes him first?

We should move smith out to WR if we did take him, however... I hope we dont. He seems like he doesnt have a very good work ethic, looking at his combine numbers

its onterrio smith
moe williams... i dunno kinda forgot him, maybe he'll be goalline back, 5 RBs LMAO
Their RB situation is a complete debacle right now. They have 4 very solid RBs: Michael Bennett, Onterio Smith, Moe Williams, and Mewelde Moore. This will either increase competivness or create remorse amongst themselves. Near the end of the season none of them were gettting the job done, so the #1 spot is up for grabs right now.
Onterrio Smith has been given plenty of opportunities and still hasn't impressed anyone, including the Vikings coaching staff. Don't confuse fantasy numbers with NFL production either. Onterrio Smith is nowhere near a top-20 NFL back, much less top-5.
onterrio smith is good one week, bad the next... I dunno, Tice sucks as a coach and I think onterrio did bad when Tice wouldnt run the ball. There were infinite times last year when we NEEDED to run with a powerful back and we passed. Onterrio didnt always get his fair share of chances but when he did we got mixed results
