The passing cone will rock, ive always been saying that you shouldnt get to see the backside of the field when playing against the computer (probably cant happen with 2 player).

I love madden, and this will make it kick more butt!

with big changes to the passing game im gonna say manning will be on the cover.

this seems like a great idea to add more realism to the passing game but it may be a little too real for some of the gamers looking for a more "arcade-y" game(like ESPN) and since no one else will be puttin one out they might lose some business.

however im not one of those people and am looking forward to the changes. im also glad the receivers are more aggressive in 06, CBs would just jump outta no where to knock down a long bomb in 05 all the damn time. cant wait til it comes out.

I'm split on the change. I think it will be a good thing once you get used to it, but a bastard for the first day or two. Should be pretty realistic once you master it though, and good against cheaters who use Vick to roll out and throw bombs. And yeah...with Peyton supposedly having the whole field as his cone, I'll have to bet he makes the cover this year.

I think the passing cone idea is smart and may be useful, but I also think that it will overcomplicate the game, which I never like.

Won't this only cause more people to just cheese it up and RUN more with him?

If they do cheese it up, at least you know what they're going to do every play.

I think this is a great idea. I used to do this one roll out play with Drew Henson, and then throw to the complete opposite side of the field. Stuff like that doesn't happen in RL, and shouldn't happen in a simulation.

stopping vick isnt as near as hard to stop in madden as it was in other games like 2k5. call the right plnow you tell me to shut down...

I'm not a madden junkie but after I got pretty good, I was was still getting picked off 4 times a game. If all they are doing is making passing that much tougher, they may lose me as a fan of this game. I thought it was unreasonably hard already, but looking at Vick's "passing cone" god forbid I had to use that thing.
