CB Barber to IND?

looks like a rumored trade between TB and IND to swap Ronde Barber and Edge...

I am not a big fan of TB trading or drafting a RB because I have faith in pittman, but if this does happen... looks alot like the poor man's version of the portis/bailey blockbuster trade...

Unlike the "blockbuster" of Champ/Portis, this one would be good for both teams.Edge is a great back that could prosper under Gruden,and Barber helps bolster a very bad Indy D.

interesting, but i'd wait until Pittman actually puts up bad numbers to replace him. He was great last year.

I think that a trade of those two players would benefit most teams. And anything that puts that violent criminal Pittman closer to unemployment the better.

I think however, Indy would require Barber and a 3rd rounder for Edge, but maybe not.

I think it would be helpful to both teams, but I'm surprised to see that the Bucs have little faith in pittman. He was amazing last season and could easily repeat last year's performance.

Hmmm, another "sack of wet hair" trade. I think Barber is a quality CB, but not worth Edge straight up.

hmm interesting. If I were Indy Id ask fr Pittman as well. He can compete with Rhodes. Denver got Bailey and a second for Portis, who is not as good as Edge.

Indy would be able to get a back like Arrington, Fason or Barber in the 2nd round to compete with Rhodes and get a CB they desperately need.

If I were Indy I'd probably take this deal. From Tampa's end, it makes sense too.

actually, that's not a bad idea. I wonder why Seattle isn't pursuing this trade as well... (not for Ronde, I mean trading SA to get Pittman and compensation).
