Monday Night Football to be on ESPN.

Beginning with the 2006 season. Just heard it on my local affiliate of ESPN radio here in L.A. I Personally don't like the move. First of all because I liked listening to Al Micheals and Madden. Secondly, because ESPN announcers are pretty bad. Lastly because It is the end of an era and it will be kinda weird not turning to channel 7 on monday night. We'll have to get used to it as well.

Looks like you gotta pay if you want Monday night games now.Most people probably already have cable or satellite anyway,but it still sucks for those who don't.

i guess you didnt know that ABC owns ESPN. So unless madden and Micheal's contracts are up and ABC isnt renewing them. Then those two will still be calling the games even on ESPN

I hate this... because I'm not getting good cable next year. To get anything other than "Limited Basic Cable," it costs 29 more dollars. I'd get something else, but Cox has the monopoly at State. Bastards...

Please God, don't let Michaels/Madden be fired...If I have to hear those three morons from ESPN on Sunday and Monday nights, I think I'll die.

Yeah, it's not like ABC (aka Disney) loses money since it's still on one of their networks. The only people it kills is the non-cable subscribers...I wonder how many new people will sign up in 2006...
