Madden 2006 Cover Released...

Postby RayVins » Mon Apr 18, 2005 10:55 pm

here it is:

STILL FLYING HIGH: Another broadly marketed athlete will receive one of the top endorsement honors in sports this year. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb, who had had as many as five national TV ads for different brands running simultaneously, has agreed to terms on a deal with Electronic Arts that will put him on the cover of Madden NFL 2006 — not only the top-selling sports video game in the United States, but the top-selling video game of any kind in the nation. With EA’s new exclusive deal with the NFL, McNabb will doubtless get the benefit of amped-up marketing for this year’s game.

No word on whether EA’s 2006 Madden game will contain a “super slow” mode, in deference to the Eagles’ lack of a hurry-up offense in Super Bowl XXXIX. Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis was on the cover of Madden 2005.

CSMG handles marketing for McNabb. Other large deals for McNabb include Reebok, Campbell Soup Co. and Lincoln Financial.

so McNabb grabs it. cant say i am suprised but he is definately not as deserving as some other players...

Good thing this post wasnt a joke like the last one :-/

I would of rather had someone else but Mcnabb does deserve it.

By the way this post will most likely be moved to the video game section.

if you have mcnabb then you might worry.

however, if you have T.O. then you shouldnt really worry. jeff blake can throw the same amount of passes to T.O. as mcnabb could, plus mcnabb and blake are about the same in accuracy, so youre fine...

I wonder if they will include McNabb's dry-heaves in pressure situations? :-b
