NFL DRAFT COMMENTS

Postby UNDEFEATED » Wed Apr 20, 2005 4:27 am

Nobody has started the inevitable draft comments thread. i always seem to find one of these in our mocks. why not here?

Thanks to the Cafe and its knowledgable members. I am going to watch the draft this weekend and actually know who is being drafted without looking their name up. ;-D These guys will no longer be names in mocks but be real people with faces, bodies, jersey and NFL PLAYERS.

Thanks guys! :-)

Alex Smith is #1! Boy he sure came a long way since December.. people weren't even looking at him in the first round.

Vikings basically got a player(troy Williamson) that RESEMBLED Randy Moss.

They should have picked Mike Williams, but Troys talents accomodate CPEP.

So its a situational selection...

Its not about Talent or best player available...its mostly situational picks.

What were the Raiders thinking trading their fourth round pick to move up a from 26 to 23, just to get Fabian Washington? Sure he is fast, but he is not that great of a corner, and I think he will be a bust. Justin Miller and Marlin Jackson both will be better.

My draft sleepers are all falling off rather early.
CB Stanford Routt (early 2nd to Oakland)
CB Ronald Bartell (2nd to STL)
CB Nick Collins (2nd to GB)...VERY raw kid...nobody knew anything about him...

The raw kids are going over more finished products like Justin Miller, Bryant McFadden, and Eric Green. Interesting. It's my style of drafting for sure.

Let's see when Adrian McPherson, Larry Brackins, and Vincent Jackson get drafted.

I'm pissed that Cincy took Thurman over Crowder, but who cares.
"The son of Bobby Bowden once again proved he's as predictable as a Julia Roberts' movie.

And upon further review, just as sappy, too."
