Anyways, I thought Elton was already out... guess I was wrong. And yeah, that is defintiely why Eminem invited him to the Grammy's that one year. I still think Em is a homophobe though.
Anyways, I didn't know about REM's lead being gay. From the music, I'm not entirely shocked... but hey, he makes damned good music, so that's what matters here.
Good luck to Elton and his husband, I guess. Nice to see some countries give a damn about the rights of... ahem... alternative sexual differences.
