As I am a huge fan each, I initally thought Doors, thinking Morrison was one of the greatest lyrical composers ever, but then I thought of the Who's body of work and Pete's lyrical genius and well I had to give it to the Who↑
If you havn't seen the movie Quadrophenia do it, and get the album it is quite remarkable. Those Kids are Alright!

I like the Who more here...They had some great stuff. Never really got into the Doors as much.
