Got a question for you. Some of you folks must know the answer. Where did the idea of fantasy football begin?

Im having a bit of a debate with some Brits. Does anyone know if it was started in the states or in the UK. We have a little debate going on here ( http://www.footballweb.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=283 ). It would be great if anyone knew the answer to this.

I'm pretty sure Dazey and Gutt invented Fantasy Football a few years ago and subsequently Arlo and Menyak found them and put them on the internet to make money off of them ... then I showed up and we had some fun and that brings us to today. ;-)
