I think we all have the same feeling, but with the way the draft worked out, there was nothing else they could do. They had to take the best available player based on their needs and the pick position. There was no "stand out" guy, and no one else wanted/needed a player badly enough where they had to trade up to #1...so we got what we got.

Basically, it was bad luck that we decided to play very badly THAT year.

I do agree that we were in a bad situation this season, but I'm not one that completely is sold on Leinart. I think he's a product of the system. We'll see how he does without Chow this season for starters.
