i watched the rams-bucs preseason game last night, and both warner and bulger looked really good with the #1's in on offense. i was just wondering what everyone thought about bulger's chances of starting? would he get in if he was just playing really well, or would warner have to be totally messing up like last year for him to start?

i grabbed warner as my second QB and i'm hoping he gets back to form. so i was really hoping bulger would suck yesterday

Warner is the starter until he gets injured or messes up too badly. Neither will happen this yr - look for him to return to top 5 status.

Don't worry about Warner. If he's healthy, he is the starter...no questions about it. Bulger would be a great late round insurance pick if you already have Warner.

I'm a St. Louisan and have watched every Rams game since he started for them. Last year, he looked nothing like his normal self. After watching him last night, I think it is safe to say he is back to his old form. Even under pressure, he rolled out and found receivers. Warner is back this year unless he suffers another injury.

Gotta agree--last year, first game, it was obvious that Warner wasn't well. This year, he looks great. I only wish he was on my team!

Warner is going to be great this year, but just make sure you have a good backup. Fortunately for me, I've been able to grab Warner and Hasselbeck back to back in the 7-8 rounds in most of my drafts.
