Oh man, that's a coin flip. Could go either way depending on my mood.
Today I give it to The Who, mostly because I just read that the Stones announced a day or two ago that they'll be stopping in the Twin Cities on another "maybe the last" tour. The Stones have been sucking the dried up teat of their former greatness ever since their last great LP, Some Girls (1978). Besides, I've seen 'em both, and The Who were better live.
Tomorrow, I might go with the Stones, as I think they have the numbers behind them in regards to classic songs, but today, it's The Who.
Two incomparable bands, giants both, but I guess that's what this contest is about.
BTW, I predict that either of these bands exterminate The Beatles in the final.
