Who would've thunk it?

I got this off NFL.com. I can't believe the somewhat awful stats of Jim McMahon. I knew he was never an elite QB, with the intangible leadership quality, but I never realized it was this bad. This is a guy that we would be completely ripping as a fantasy starter now. Maybe I need to check the league averages from then and see, but 18 TD's to 11 INT's on the most dominating team in history for a single season (albeit mostly on defense) seems pretty dismal to me. Think Rex can do better than our last pro bowl quarterback, the Punky QB?

Larry: When was the last time the Bears had a Pro Bowl quarterback?

Henry Fillwhite

Henry: Jim McMahon was the last Bears quarterback to be voted to the Pro Bowl. He made his lone appearance after helping lead the 1985 team to the Super Bowl championship by passing for 2,392 yards with 18 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and an 82.8 quarterback rating.

That was either a pathetic year for QBs or he made it based on the Bears record.
