speaking of willy wonka...do any of you older guys remember when that movie came out i believe it was hersheys that started putting "golden tickets" inside a select few of their candy bars' wrappers? i believe the winner got a trip to the factory or something like that. anyways..i was obsessed with this and searched everywhere...ditches...trashy areas...etc to find one of those stinkin things. needless to say i never found one. man i was a stupid kid LOL
Nothing like a Raven scrounging through the trash and coming up empty! Makes my day!

I think those will be great!
Add Fantastic 4 to the mix and that's a great summer action lineup.

My current want to see list:
Star Wars(skipping school Thursday, I'm so pumped ) War of the Worlds The Wedding Crashers
And there are a lot of remakes I wanna see too:
Bewitched(anything w/ Will Ferrell is a must see ) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Bad News Bears The Dukes of Hazzard The Pink Panther
If there has been one movie made that has ever made me want to vomit based on the stupidity alone, it was Starsky and Hutch. Now Dukes comes along and turns that wet vomit into a dry heave from hell. So many better choices for Daisy out there than this dumbass. The only person cast correctly in the entire film is Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse. I like Burt Reynolds, but the whole point of being Boss Hogg was that he was fat! That is what made the joke funny. I was just curious, when did it become a crime to do some original thinking and come up with a movie idea that isn't a copy, remake or blatant ripoff of someone else's work? Just look at the list of 8 films above and you will see all but 2 are remakes of some sort. (Maybe 9, I never heard of The Wedding Crashers) I refuse to shell out my hard earned cash for twice baked retread garbage.
I can't believer people are so unenthusiastic about the new Batman. Just look at the cast. Christian Bale is very good at playing darker characters. Michael Caine as Alfred, Morgan Freeman, Gary Olman, and Liam Neeson to round out the cast. Ra Ghul played by the lead samurai in the last samurai (an accomplished Asian actor), the lead actor from 28 Days Later as another villain, and your standard cute chick to play the damsel in distress.
What exactly could make this movie look any better?
Charlie and the Chocolate factory is a sequal to willy wonka... its about charlie (johnny deep) being grown up and running the factory... im pretty sure

Unfortunately, no. Checked out the cast on imdb, and Johnny Depp is playing Willy Wonka. Nothing against Depp, but I don't think this remake has a shot at all of even matching the original. Gene Wilder has done many roles that others just wouldnt be able to pull off, and this is one of them. Wilder made the movie, and I doubt even Depp can match him in this role.
