You guys are acting like Carrie sucks or something. Judge them only on their performances on the finale and Carrie did better, because she sang the originally-written songs better than Bo did. The number she closed on sealed it; I think she deserved to win.

I have to admit, I was disappointed to see Bo come in second. But like some of you have said, he's probably going to get a contract with someone anyways.

Actually, IMO the way they performed crappy songs that weren't written to suit their styles whatsoever had no bearing on what I thought of these two. They were both spectacular, but I guarantee...yes we can go back to this later.... Bo Bice will be the most successful Idol contestant ever. He is a star already, and will only improve when he gets into his own element. Carrie will burn faster than Kelly Clarkson by jumping into an overcrowded market for cute young country girls with a pop flair. Shania and the Dixie Chicks cornered that market, and there simply isn't enough room on that platform for a girl that can't dance and gets pitchy due to nerves.
