I got an XM radio as a gift...it's very good, but focused around baseball...not a bad thing during baseball season so I can pretty much listen to every game. But Sirius has it with football...so during the season, you can listen to every NFL game each week...I don't know about comparisons in their music but assuming you love football much more than baseball, you're probably best off with the Sirius. But music wise, I'm very pleased with XM...it has a little something for everyone.
I know that Sirius is better for football, but if you are willing to skip the football package, XM is the way to go. More channels, more conservative minded on teh talk channels (if you are that way), and of course Pl ayboy (filter) radio! XM! XM! XM!

Actually it's the local guys doing the broadcasts, bad thing about it is, TV is like on a 2 second delay there about, and Radio, 5-7 second delay, so another words they would be calling the play you just watched while you watching the current play; could get confusing.

Wouldn't getting Playboy radio be kind of like buying their magazine for the articles?
Anyway, I'm leaning towards Sirius because of the NFL games but maybe I should take another look at XM. After all, I catch most of the games on TV.
I was having to make this decision over Christmas, and I went with Sirius. Much better NFL coverage, equal or better music stations, and Howard Stern coming on January 1, 2006.
I highly recommend Sirius; haven't had any problems.

Dont forget Eminem Own Channel, and Maxim Radio
Nascar coming to Sirius in 2007
Oh yeah, for you at home folks, Martha Stewart getting her own channel.
I was really thinkin' of getting satellite radio a couple years ago... but since I'm almost always listenin' to my CDs, I didn't. I'm still interested in SIRIUS though - the Howard Stern factor and all.
