Now that we have a winner for both the 60s and 70s, the representatives from the two decades will face off in the finale, the winner claiming the title of the greatest band of the era. I expect this to be a tight race, so make sure you vote for whoever you think was greater.

Not even gonna comment on that, but as a whole I'd take the music from the 60s over the music from the 70s...
I voted for Zeppelin, simply because I find myself listening to them more often than the Beatles. Both are amazing talents, and I listen to them both regularly, but I just find that I end up listening to Zep a lot more, especially the songs that aren't recognized as world hits.
I again go with Zeppelin. The Beatles are pretty boy pussies with no edge and not very good songs. All their shit is too slow and not hard enough.

Nothing against the Beatles, but Zepp gets my vote. I didn't get into the Beatles until after I graduated high school, but I loved Zeppelin the minute I heard them for the first time way back when.
They both have awesome songs each bands songs reflect the era perfectly. However, Led Zeplin gets my vote because of the
1) Longevity, 2) Jimmy Page's amazing solo's, 3) Robert Plants awesome lyrics, 4) John Bonham enf said, and 5) John Paul Jones errr umm amazing keyboarding on "no quarter"

I love Zeppelin, but my vote goes to the Beatles, the greatest band of all time. They revolutionized music, and had more #1 hits than any group ever. With the exception of Ringo, the band members were phenomenal, with the band and when they went solo. They have the most played song of all time, Yesterday, and rightfully so. Paul McCartny had perhaps the greatest voice of all time, and although John Lennon was incredibly liberal, you have to respect his unbelievable lyrics.
I know some people may like certain bands better than the beatles, but it seems people do not appreciate what they meant to music and to the world, for that matter, during the 60s.
