AAAAAAAARG! so close for Danica. not enough fuel to keep her competive. she finished 4th and looks to be legit. its so rare when an event lives up to its hype, but this one came damn close.
I'm a huge Indy fan, been to the race itself 5 times and the family has had tickets for over 30 years. I've got to say, for a rookie driver, she was really impressive for the most part. She really hung around all day stalling it once that killed position and losing control on that restart. I thought she was toast after wrecking the front of her car on that restart but she hung tough. I was shocked as hell to see her overtake Wheldon too on that restart. We'll see how she does in the future, but she did pretty well out there.
I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass, lollipops in my mouth. That's just me.
Thank god she didn't win, or else all we would have heard on National news and sports channels was all that girl power garbage they like to put on when Annika Sorenstam tries to play on the PGA Tour. Arggh, its so cliched.

I never watched the indy 500 due to I think nascar is really boring. But I happened to catch the last 30 or so laps and it kept my attention really well I thought Danica was going to be able to pull it off
