Are any of you good at investing stocks? If so, could you give me some advice?
I'm a freshman this year, and I have participated in investment club. I tried doing a little research, but there is just so much info out there that it is hard to get a grasp on the stock market. I would like to know some general stock investing advice as well as answers to specific questions such as what is the difference between ask and bid prices and what do you think are the best stats. With all this data like earnings per share, price per earnings, sales, cash flow, etc, 52-weeks, 14-weeks, etc, it's so hard to tell what to look at.

Hollywood Stock Exchange. You start off with some money, and can by "moviestocks" and "starbonds" along with movie funds. It may seem cheesy, but it basically taught me all about the stock market. Prices go up and down accordingly and you just try to accumalate as much wealth as possible. Do this for about 2 or 3 months, by then you'll understand a lot more and can go off into the real world of wall street.
Note: if you actually end up doing this, then when you register, say that you're over 18. You need to be 18 or older to register, so just make up a fake b-day.
Well, I signed up. When it asked who refered me, I put your FFC name. I'm a little skeptical taking stock advice from someone who jumped in a pile of poop for $50...

Lol, a pile of poop
Well the "other word" prolly would not make it though mtr's filter.
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.
