and why is he making ANOTHER freakin zombie movie(land of the dead), especially one with the word "dead" in it?
i know ive heard his name before and i think it was in a good light but how many times is someone gonna be able to remake the same damn story? everyone turns into zombies, a few survivors stay alive, they all find each other, they slowly die off individually, and they kill all the zombies/all die.
the 'of the dead' movies were origannally a trilogy (Night, Dawn, Day), and it looks like he's adding a fourth. The storyline advances, as time advances-in this one, it looks as though the zombies learn to think, to an extent.

Mainly because he can. Romero's name is synonymous with zombies, and quite frankly, he's a genius at it. Night of the Living Dead is still the best horror film of all time (IMO), and not a single Halloween goes by without turning out the lights, making a big bowl of popcorn and watching this flick. I just can't wait til the youngun' gets old enough that I can scare the pants off of him with this movie (and the good old standby props, like the cold spaghetti intestines, jello eyeballs etc.).

Romero is awesome Dawn of the Dead is on of the best gore flicks to date, though now speicial effects maybe a little dated but if he can come into the 21st century with a new gruesome movie . . i'm all over it.
