McQuarters is Meggett?

Free agent defensive back and special teams ace R.W. McQuarters has visited several teams since the Bears released him last month. Although he has yet to enter serious contract negotiations with any teams, the Vikings and Giants are rumored to be the leading contenders for McQuarters' services. Mike Sweatman, the G-Men's special teams coach, is obviously hoping that R.W. will choose Gotham City. "He's an exciting, electrifying type returner, similar to some of the plays David Meggett made when he was with the Giants," Sweatman told the New York Post. McQuarters has returned three punts for touchdowns during his seven year career.

8-o Are these guys on crack? Comparing McQuarters to Meggett? That's just insane!

This coach either

a.) has absolutely no idea what he is talking about!

or

b.) will say anything to try to get a player to come to his team.

Either way, McQuarters is nothing like Meggett!

I would love to see RW go to the Vikings, they seem to be picking up our cast-offs. When RW came to the Bears there was a lot of hope he would be a big time return man but that has not panned out.

What do you mean? 3 TD's for a season for a return specialist is phenomenal! Oh wait...that's career TD's? Yeah...R-Dub sucks. He actually did get decent career yardage totals though. I'll give credit where it's due.
