CFL on NFL network?

The CFL is awesome to watch. I like the NFL better, but the CFL is a lot closer to the NFL than Arena League. I will get all the games anyway, but I hope for your guy's sake that you do as well. ;-D

The CFL ball is bigger, trust me. I can't grip the laces on a CFL ball if I try and throw it, but I can on an NFL ball.

I hope you guys get to watch some of it. It's closer to the NFL than the Arena League as Portisfan said.

sorry. Moved overseas a few years ago and never followed the CFL from abroad.

I always thought that was the dumbest thing i have ever seen. 2 teams in the same league with the same damn name. Only in Canada.

Actually, one was called the Roughrider and the other was the Roughriders. I'll completely agree that it sounded idiotic to me growing up while watching those two teams play one another.

The Ottawa team actually ended up folding and then was re-made a couple years ago as an expansion team.

Going to the Hamilton Ti-Cats/Toronto Argos exhibition game this weekend in Halifax. Should be great, hopefully one step closer to getting an expansion team out East!

One thing I really like about the CFL is most of the players are truly lunch-bucket guys. I think the average salary is in the range of 30-40K a year, so these guys have to make money other ways - by endorsements, public appearances and -yes- other off-season jobs.

Most of the guys are actually playing for the love of the game. That's what I can't stand about the NFL, TO, Javon Walker and all of those holdouts complaining about there salaries (Yeah Ty Law, I find it hard to eat on 8 mill a year too). And the worst thing is their greed is making it impossible for the average Joe to afford game tickets.

DEFINTIELY not a problem in the CFL!

Holy crap those rules are a lot more different than I thought. Only 3 downs? Do they still have to get 10 yards? I would think if so that would make running far less of a factor. I mean, if you run on 1st down for 2 yards, now you're stuck with (in our sense) "3rd and long".

I'd rather them show NFL Europe, although I don't get NFL Network anyway so it doesn't really matter what I think.
