Tue, 7 Jun 2005 12:10:53 -0700

Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns OT L.J. Shelton looked "OK" during a recent workout with the team, according to Browns general manager Phil Savage. "Obviously we'll have from now until training camp to work with him," Savage said. "He's experienced and has versatility. I think now that he is in a different environment, this will be a case of a change of scenery doing him good." Shelton is expected to participate in passing camp practices Tuesday, June 7.

finally his real worth comes out...

Might want to put LJ in the title. I thought this referred to Eric Shelton, as I'm sure many other will as well.

I guess the Bills figured they could get more than L.J. for Travis Henry. Perhaps they're right about that. Nice post, thanks Ray.

I think it is telling that they only signed him to a one-year deal. I think they are going to target one of the OLTs in the deep 2006 draft class. Obviously with their projected high draft choice - they will likely be in line for the #1 or #2 OLT on the board.
