$1.6 1 yr deal. Considering he was coming off a 4 yr $21 deal, he certainly came down in price. Even still though - not great, but not bad either.

He will be the Lions #3CB and backup punt returner. Given the fact that Bly, Bryant, and Drummond all went down with injuries last yr he becomes a pretty decent backup.

1.6 for a one year deal isnt bad, gives the Leos a little depth and Drummond hasnt even signed his tender yet. Not a bad signing.

Not a bad price, I would say he isn't worth much more but he isn't a bad backup.

I like this signing. I'm REALLY glad it is for only $1.6 though. A good depth signing.

It gives Detroit depth and talent at the cb position, more than before. And it wasn't for as steep of a price as I thought it'd be...

no doubt.

Drummond is much much better than McQ returning kicks - it isnt remotely close.

But - as MSB said, it does give the Lions a small bargaining chip.
