Well, I'm afraid that it just doesn't happen. Everyone in the NFL feasts on the short yardage TDs. To single out SA is nearsighted.
Here's what I did. I sampled the Top 10 TD rushing running backs of 2004. You can do more if you like, and in other years. I'm fairly confident the results won't change and frankly, this is your bias to prove.
Alexander
Tomlinson
Barber
Dominick Davis
McGahee
Dillon
Holmes
Martin
Rudi Johnson
*Submitting in EJ who came in 11th, omitting Bettis who was a TD vulture
Here's what you get.
Only Rudi and EJ had 25% or less of their TDs come inside the 2 yard line. Here's the percentages:
22, 25, 42, 44, 46, 50, 50, 50, 53, 75. Which one was Shaun?
Excluding Barber who's yardage per TD average was majorly inflated for two +50yd scores (12.6 yards/TD) Only EJ eclipsed Shaun's 7.5 yards/TD average.
Which two RBs in the list were the only ones to score four times outside the ten? Holmes and?
Which RB would you tout is more of a premier RB? Tomlinson? With NINE of his TDs coming from the one? And only two outside the ten? Well he can't be! He might as well be "walking them in backwards".
Right?

There are too many Seahawks fans in a position of power. I think they should have a 3 way battle to the death where the winner is the sole Seahawks mod.
